Sculpture

Fire & Ice

Commissioned by New Mexico Arts, this 28' high steel sculpture is inspired by regional geological formations. Embedded glass pieces refer to the nearby ice caves, and the gas fire is controlled by the City of Grants, where it is located. Sculpture rests on a small plaza surrounded by a timeline of history in the area.

Newton's Corner

Commissioned by Colorado Council on the Arts. This 32' stainless steel kinetic sculpture is located at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, near several science buildings. The ball moves gently in the wind, always returning to neutral, alluding to Isaac Newton's Theory of Gravity.
