Philosophy
Kathleen believes public art is a public statement made with public money, so the community or site user should feel a sense of ownership and pride. When possible, they should be involved in the design process.
Experience
Kathleen has completed more than 20 site-specific public art commissions with budgets up to $500,000, all on time and on budget. She is experienced in a broad range of materials, including fire, water, glass, steel, mosaic, tile, granite, and concrete. Formats incorporate both 2D and 3D, including architectural glass, sculpture, and gathering places with text.
